As the Shift Leader, you will be responsible to coordinate the activities of your assigned shift while providing direct care services to clientele.  This position provides operational leadership to assure behavior management, documentation and logging is complete and accurate.  Specific duties include: Provide consistent, individualized reinforcement to client behavior, using daily issues to teach and reinforce adaptive behaviors. Assist clients in developing insight into their behaviors so that they learn to self-identify and self correct. Provide daily living supervision and treatment intervention. Establish a therapeutic relationship with the client based on trust & respect. Coordinate home visit transportation logistics. Coordinate staff scheduling with Program Manager. Provide direction and support to shift leaders/youth counselors. Problem solve with fellow Shift Leaders and program coordinator to help fill any staffing gaps that may arise.   Why Work here?
