Job Description

Cintas is seeking a Six Sigma Black Belt to lead major process and profit-improvement initiatives. Responsibilities include performing technical and leadership roles to complete Six Sigma projects on time, achieve measurable bottom-line results and ensure that process owners are given the tools and guidance needed to fully sustain the improvements at project completion; understanding current processes and identifying value-improvement initiatives; executing strategic profit improvement efforts; selling ideas and delivering important status presentations to all levels of the organization; leading and working effectively in diverse teams; training, coaching and mentoring Green Belts and team members on successful application of Six Sigma Methodology; acting as the liaison between Corporate and our field locations; performing additional responsibilities as needed.

Skills/Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering or a related field preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40%, including overnight stays
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and intranet/internet
  • Greenbelt certification or equivalent
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid driver's license

 

Preferred

  • 2+ years' experience with Six Sigma, or equivalent methodologies, leading change and/or team ledership
