Summary

Work closely with experienced professionals in their chosen field to apply what is learned in the classroom to real-life situations. Gain an enhanced understanding of human resources and the automotive manufacturing industry, leading to success in the classroom, while laying the foundation for a successful career. 

Responsibilities

  • Review HR policies and develop structure for future updates and maintenance.
  • Support audits for compensation, payroll and benefit programs.
  • Support mailings/communications/meeting coordination/etc. for new project implementations.
  • Participate in part of the Performance Management cycle.
  • Work through aspects of the recruitment process.  
  • Become familiar with department-specific Key Performance Indicators.
  • Support Company improvement activities.
  • Support and make recommendations to improve Company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in department-specific projects.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university.
  • Overall Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or higher.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, with emphasis on Excel.
  • Verbal, written, interpersonal, and cross-cultural communication skills.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documents related to the Company’s products/processes.
