The Seaway Valley Prevention Council seeks a self-driven and creative individual to serve as its full-time Clubhouse Coordinator at the Horizons Youth Clubhouse in Massena. 


The Clubhouse Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the Horizons Youth Clubhouse. Duties include designing programming, overseeing the project budget, planning community events, scheduling presentations, engaging with youth and parents, working with local school districts, and completing reporting. 


An effective Clubhouse Coordinator works to engage teens in meaningful, engaging programming that aligns with their interests while overseeing the program's organization and structure.


Applicants must strive for organization and be self-directed, possess strong written and oral communication skills, understand a variety of social media platforms, enjoy trying new things, and enjoy working with teens and the community. Successful applicants must be able to use positive language to lead a team, be creative, and be adaptive. Organization and effective leadership skills are a must.  


The position requires some travel to the agency's primary office location and for professional development opportunities. The position works Monday - Friday, with hours adjusting when school is in session.


The minimum requirement is an associate degree in Education, Public Health, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. A NYS OASAS CPP is required immediately upon hire.
