We’re seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Flat Glass Estimator to join our growing team and represent our brand with professionalism and integrity.

Job Summary:

The Flat Glass Estimator is responsible for performing in-home consultations, measuring for flat glass replacement, identifying hardware requirements, and preparing and presenting estimates. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales ability, ensuring each customer receives an accurate quote and exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct on-site visits to residential and light commercial properties to measure and assess flat glass needs (e.g., windows, doors, tabletops, shelves).
  • Identify and document hardware requirements for windows and other installations.
  • Prepare accurate estimates based on measurements, materials, and labor.
  • Present estimates to customers in a clear, professional, and confident manner.
  • Educate customers on products, installation options, and value-added services.
  • Follow up with customers regarding open estimates and assist with scheduling approved work.
  • Collaborate with office and installation teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
  • Maintain organized records of site visits, measurements, and estimates.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in glass, construction, or a similar trade (preferred).
  • Strong measurement and basic math skills; ability to read a tape measure accurately.
  • Comfortable working with customers in their homes and providing clear, professional communication.
  • Sales experience or strong aptitude for selling home improvement services.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work.
  • Basic computer skills for estimate entry and communication.
