PARKS MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Parks Maintenance position is a part-time position that is a hands-on, service-focused position involving work outdoors and at special events.  Employee must be flexible, as responsibilities range from routine park maintenance and restroom cleaning to supporting community events and interacting with the public.  The role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and a commitment to providing a positive experience of park visitors.  Seasonal employees may be scheduled for varied hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays, to support town events and peak park usage. Work is performed under supervision of the Senior Maintenance Technician and reviewed while in progress and upon completion to determine that proper work methods are being followed and that assignments are carried our correctly.
