Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

The purpose of the Treasury Manager is to oversee all cash reconciliations, develop and maintain cash reporting, and forecast cash for predefined periods for the organization.

  • Supervise every aspect of the company’s cash accounting function.
  • Lead development and coordination of cash flow forecasting, including analysis of drivers of actual performance.
  • Manage Cash Management deployment and maintenance to ensure utilization for efficient bank reconciliations.
  • Partner with Finance Operations, FP&A, and others to develop a working capital model to drive efficient functional capital management.
  • Manage corporate card payment strategy, including card-type optimization initiatives, to minimize interchange expense and maximize overall card program value.
  • Assist/prepare presentation materials for senior management and board of directors.
  • Collaborate with teams across the finance organization to build dashboards/reports that provide insights and drive efficiencies in forecasting.
  • Develop cash requirements for annual cash outlays for inventory, fixed assets, and overall operations.
  • Oversee data flow and the process between accounting systems and sub-systems.
  • Coordinate with external auditors to provide supporting information for various transactions posting to the general ledger.
  • Review balance sheet and general ledger accounts.
  • Predict cash requirements and cash position through analysis of budgetary needs and financial reports.
  • Implement automation and process improvements to reduce redundancy.
  • Manage and cultivate banking relationships, serving as the primary liaison with financial institutions to resolve account issues, address inquiries, and negotiate favorable terms and services.
  • Manage accurate, reliable, and timely reporting for internal requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with required external and internal controls.
  • Provide metrics and specific reporting to senior management.
  • Exemplify the leadership behaviors taught in Rural King’s Thrive Leadership Program.
  • Use discretion and independent judgment in daily decisions while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
  • May be required to cross train and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Essential Qualities for Success

  • 5 years of experience within any treasury function and bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn report writing systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of retail business practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
  • Behavior must reflect integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

Physical Requirements  

  •  Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.
  • Capability to lift 30 pounds periodically.
  • Able to navigate and access all facilities.
  • Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.
  • Close vision for computer-related activities.

The pay range for this position is $72,500 - $85,000 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs. Eligible associates may also receive overtime pay in compliance with applicable laws.
