Our club offers state-of-the-art facilities, including two Ogilvy, Cocking and Mead–designed 18-hole golf courses, a 9-hole short course, and world-class facilities for shooting, hunting, and angling. In addition to our outstanding outdoor offerings, we pride ourselves on exceptional hospitality, with multiple dining and lodging options, all enhanced by our 25-acre farm that serves as the centerpiece of our 4,500-acre property.

Position Summary

The Seasonal Full-Time Laundry Attendant is responsible for the timely cleaning, processing, organization, and distribution of linens, towels, uniforms, and other washable items used throughout the Club.

This position requires strong attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to maintaining The Fall Line’s standards for cleanliness and presentation. The Laundry Attendant will also augment the Housekeeping team when needed, including assisting with guest accommodations, common areas, turndown service, and other housekeeping responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Sort, wash, dry, fold, press, and properly store linens, towels, uniforms, and other Club laundry.
  • Inspect items for stains, damage, excessive wear, or other quality concerns.
  • Treat stains and process laundry according to established procedures and manufacturer instructions.
  • Maintain appropriate inventory levels of clean linens, towels, and laundry supplies.
  • Distribute clean items to guest accommodations, housekeeping storage areas, dining operations, locker rooms, and other Club locations.
  • Collect soiled laundry and transport it safely to designated laundry areas.
  • Operate washers, dryers, irons, presses, and other laundry equipment safely and properly.
  • Keep the laundry room, equipment, shelving, carts, and storage areas clean, organized, and sanitary.
  • Follow proper procedures for handling chemicals, cleaning products, and soiled materials.
  • Communicate equipment problems, supply shortages, damaged items, and inventory concerns promptly.
  • Assist the Housekeeping team with cleaning guest accommodations, common areas, offices, restrooms, and other Club facilities when needed.
  • Assist with turndown service, room preparation, linen changes, restocking, and special housekeeping projects.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to requests from members, guests, and Club leadership.
  • Protect member and guest privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Work cooperatively with Housekeeping, Food and Beverage, Golf Operations, and other departments to support Club operations.
  • Complete other duties as assigned based on operational needs.

Schedule

Full-time shifts are available between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Schedules may vary based on Club operations, member usage, and departmental needs. Evening, weekend, and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

  • Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, hotel, resort, or private club experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently while also contributing as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, and complete assignments within established timelines.
  • Professional appearance, communication, and conduct.
  • Dependable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Willingness to work cross-functionally and assist outside the laundry area when needed.
  • Availability to work shifts between 6:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m., including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, and perform repetitive movements.
  • Ability to lift and carry laundry bags, linen bundles, supplies, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to push and maneuver loaded laundry and housekeeping carts.
  • Ability to work in warm, humid, and fast-paced laundry and housekeeping environments.
  • Ability to use cleaning chemicals and laundry products safely.

Work Environment

This position primarily works in the Club’s laundry and housekeeping areas but may also work in guest accommodations, dining facilities, locker rooms, offices, and other indoor or outdoor Club locations. The position may be exposed to heat, humidity, cleaning chemicals, wet surfaces, and varying noise levels.

Seasonal Full-Time Employment

This is a seasonal full-time position, generally supporting the Club’s operating season from September through June. Work schedules and weekly hours are based on Club usage, business levels, weather, events, and operational needs.
