Shift:   2nd Shift Monday - Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM

Pay: $25.25 – $35.05 /hr. DOE

Shift Premium: $4.00 /hr.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Monitor a diverse array of production systems and equipment to identify any issues.  
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. 
  • Complete routine preventative maintenance thoroughly and on time. 
  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues. 
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues.
  • Troubleshoot and/or program PLC’s when needed.
  • Understand and follow all Safety procedures such as lockout-tagout and wearing proper PPE. 
  • Understand and practice Quality System requirements and documentation (i.e., applicable inspection, verification, and disposition procedures, and/or instructions and forms required as part of the process).
  • Must be willing to work overtime as needed. 

 

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Associate technical degree or vocational training in industrial field or similar, and 5 years of manufacturing experience is preferred
  • OR a minimum of 7 years combined training and experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and experience working on gears, gearboxes, chains, bearings etc. 
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and efficiently use a multi meter
  • Understanding of electrical systems such as 480-volt and 24-volt circuits
  • Solid experience with fluid pumps and AC/DC motors
  • Understanding of pneumatic systems such as solenoids, cylinders, and diaphragm pumps 
  • Experience with PLC’s – Troubleshooting ladder logic, making edits, and performing some programming 
  • Ability to understand and follow directions as given
  • Displays initiative and ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Commitment to meet or exceed company attendance and punctuality standards
