Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine vehicle and foot patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, parking areas, and perimeter zones to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and contractor credentials as directed by site policies, and support traffic and pedestrian flow in accordance with location requirements.
  • Communicate with site personnel and first responders during routine operations and escalated events, following post orders and established protocols for security-related situations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
