JOB SUMMARY:

• This role will be responsible for the final check of pallets for accuracy prior to being loaded onto local delivery vehicles.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Responsibilities:

• Audit pre-made multi-product pallets to ensure accuracy
• Verify pallet and product count against BOL or PO
• Load pallets onto local delivery vehicles

QUALIFICATIONS:

education and/or experience:

• High school diploma
• Previous warehouse experience preferred
• Forklift certification preferred

knowledge, skills and abilities:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to understand dispatch forms (Bill of Lading, Purchase Order)

physical requirements:

• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 80 pounds for a sustained time (up to 2 hours)
• Ability to frequently and repeatedly reach overhead, stoop, bend, and twist
• Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods while operating power equipment
• Ascend and descend stairs frequently
• Ability to work in a warehouse environment (concrete floors, changing temperatures)
