Sterling CDJR South in Maurice, LA is looking for a Used Car Inspection (UCI) Technician to help prepare our pre-owned vehicles for retail sale. If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working independently, and have experience performing automotive maintenance and repairs, we'd love to have you on our team.

In this role, you'll inspect, maintain, and repair pre-owned vehicles to ensure they meet our quality and safety standards before they're placed on the lot. From routine maintenance to light and moderate repairs, you'll play an important role in delivering reliable, road-ready vehicles to our customers.

What You'll Do

• Inspect pre-owned vehicles and identify maintenance or repair needs.
• Perform routine maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid services.
• Complete light to moderate repairs and basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Test drive vehicles to verify repairs and ensure they're ready for sale.
• Document inspections, completed repairs, and service recommendations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work closely with management to prioritize repairs and prepare vehicles for retail sale.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 2 years professional automotive repair experience
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Team-oriented with good communication skills
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
