Our Medical Surgical Unit team is dedicated to delivering compassionate, high-quality inpatient care for patients recovering from illness, injury, and surgical procedures. How you'll contribute
AĀ Patient Care Assistant (PCA)Ā who excels in this role:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN), ensuring comfort, safety, and quality outcomesĀ
Accurately document patient information and care activities in the medical recordĀ
Maintain and organize equipment and supplies, contributing to a safe and efficient care environmentĀ
Support quality assurance initiatives by adhering to established standards and protocolsĀ
Communicate effectively with team members across departments to ensure coordinated patient careĀ
Assist with staff education efforts and actively pursue ongoing professional developmentĀ
Apply knowledge of age-specific needs to deliver appropriate, patient-centered care in alignment with policies and procedures

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a High School Diploma (or equivalent). Additional requirements include:
Nursing Assistant Certificate preferred
Current BLS certification required within 30 days of hire
- PCA/DCA Experience preferred
- Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
