FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE PREFERRED

Conduct operations in accordance with safety requirements. Adhere to the usage of required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for all areas and repair situations.

Read work order, requisition, or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved; transport materials from receiving area to designated location. 

Load and unload materials onto or from pallets, racks and shelves in a safe and efficient manner.

Load materials into vehicles and installs strapping, bracing, or padding to prevent shifting or damage in transit.

Convey materials from storage or work sites to designated areas with proper equipment; Operate forklift safely to assist in loading or moving materials and products.

Complete all required paperwork timely and properly.

Operate computerized order processing devices & mechanical packaging equipment as required.

Use JDE System for receiving, transfers of product numbers, and other issues, maintain filing systems for receiving packing lists.

Communicate order information with vendors and/or Supply Chain personal as needed.

Inspect or count freight for accuracy and/or damage and infestation.

Ensure that 1^st in 1^st out (FIFO) is being followed, when pulling materials.

Assist in maintaining the security and cleanliness of the warehouse.

Clean trailers and truck bays as required.

Participate in physical inventory or cycle counts, if assigned.

Perform inspecting, pulling, labeling, sorting, packing, wrapping, and repackaging as required.

Arrive at work on time and comply with company attendance and tardiness policies.

Possess ability to get along with co-workers, customers and company visitors.
