Job Description:
Sturm, Ruger & Co., Inc., a leader in American firearms manufacturing, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven S&OP Analyst to support and augment the company’s Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process. This role will directly support the S&OP Manager, with responsibilities spanning detailed demand/supply data management, KPI reporting, cross-functional coordination, and facilitation of elements of the S&OP cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage SKU-level demand and supply data within Oracle ERP and Excel tools.
- Develop KPI reports (forecast accuracy, inventory turns, service levels, etc.).
- Support BI implementation (PowerBI in the future).
- Prepare inputs for monthly S&OP cycle and coordinate across factories.
- Funnel insights through the S&OP Manager and support executive reports.
- Moderate selected meetings and ensure timely alignment across teams.
- Serve as backup presenter for S&OP meetings when required.
- Recommend improvements to forecasting, reporting, and data integrity.
- Consistent demonstration of Ruger’s expected behaviors.
- All other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or related field, or additional years of experience in lieu of a degree.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in supply chain, demand planning, or S&OP roles.

Preferred Skills:
Strong Oracle ERP and advanced Excel skills.
BI experience (PowerBI preferred).
Forecasting, inventory management, and capacity planning knowledge.
Certifications (APICS CPIM/CSCP) preferred but not required.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Comfortable with SKU-level detail and large datasets.
Must be able to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
