CONTEXT OF THE POSITION: STOBER is expanding its strategic footprint in electrical automation and integrated motion systems.  Increased vertical integration in design and manufacturing around the entire system of gearbox, motors and controllers will ensure perfect support to our customer throughout the entire system design, integration, and commissioning.  This role exists to own, develop, and lead STOBER’s systems strategy in North America. JOB SUMMARY: The Systems Product Manager is the face of STOBER systems in North America and has full ownership of the systems strategy, roadmap, and go-to-market execution. This role combines organizational influence, deep technical expertise, commercial leadership. The Systems Product Manager drives adoption of complete STOBER systems (electronics, motors, cables, and gearboxes), develops system applications, supports complex sales structures, and builds strong partnerships. This position requires the ability to work independently, build momentum from the ground up, influence internal and external stakeholders, and build confidence through clear communication, training, and demonstrated success.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND EXPECTATIONS: Work in a safe manner 100% of the time. Set a positive example of performance, responsibility, tact, and professionalism. Generate revenue and increase sales of STOBER Motion Control Products. Serve as the owner of STOBER’s systems initiative in North America. Define and execute systems goals, roadmap, and long-term vision, including a forward-looking 2030 systems plan. Establish North American requirements for systems products, support, and delivery. Maintain STOBER’s high standards of quality, delivery, and service as systems adoption scales. Grow knowledge of the sales best practices for STOBER systems (for self and for others through coaching & technical trainings to showcase the value proposition and capability) Lead the commercial go-to-market strategy for systems across a complex sales structure including distributors, reps, regional managers, and system integrators. Position STOBER systems positively in the market by reframing objections. Possess deep knowledge of product hierarchy, servo electronics, and system architecture. Know how to configure, apply, and commission complete STOBER systems. Identify new business opportunities and potential customers for STOBER systems. Determine and outline a plan for repeatable success drivers as related to selling systems. Develop and nurture close relationships with new and existing customers in an effort to build a preliminary funnel for systems. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, STOBER Germany, and Customer Support, to ensure good customer value. Utilize CRM to manage customer interactions and sales effectiveness Responsible for product lifecycle management? Observe company policies related to dress, appearance, attendance, employment, etc.   QualificationsPREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: BSEE, BSME, BSCS, or related degree (industrial technology, etc.) preferred. Experience with servo motors & electronics. Experience with machine design, systems integration, and automation. Proven ability to train and influence audiences at all experience levels. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: Strong ownership mentality with the ability to operate independently Strategic, analytical, and results-driven Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Comfortable leading change and influencing skeptics Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics Flexible and willing to travel domestically and internationally (~25%) GENERAL: Individuals in this position are expected to perform daily functions with little supervision.  They can recognize decisions that require escalation to their supervisor or management. PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Required to talk and hear, sit, specific vision abilities are required; specifically, the ability to use a computer screen for an extensive part of the day.  Physical stamina and ability to work in various environments.
