Full-Time Veterinary Assistant
 Location: Maywood, NJ
Schedule: Full-time | Saturday Rotation
Pay Range: $17-$19 per hour (Based on experience)

Our 5-doctor, small animal hospital is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Technician who’s passionate about quality medicine and making a positive impact on pets, clients, and the team.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Prior experience as a Veterinary Assistant preferred (on-the-job training available for the right candidate)

• Comfortable assisting with animal handling, restraint, and basic patient care

• Willingness to learn clinical skills and support technicians and doctors

• Reliable, adaptable, and able to work rotating Saturdays

• A positive, team-oriented attitude with strong communication skills

• Someone who shows up ready to help and contribute to a great culture

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with patient restraint, exams, treatments, and basic procedures

• Help prepare rooms, equipment, and patients for appointments and surgery

• Support technicians and DVMs during procedures and daily workflow

• Maintain cleanliness of treatment areas, exam rooms, and equipment

• Assist with client communication, patient check-ins, and discharge support
