About the Role:

As an MRI Technologist, you will play a critical role in the diagnostic imaging process by operating magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed images of patients' internal structures. Your expertise will ensure high-quality imaging while prioritizing patient safety and comfort throughout the procedure. You will collaborate closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to accurately capture images that assist in diagnosis and treatment planning. This role demands meticulous attention to detail, strong technical knowledge, and compassionate patient care skills. Ultimately, your work will contribute significantly to the effective diagnosis and management of various medical conditions, improving patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited MRI Technologist program.
  • Current certification as an MRI Technologist (e.g., ARRT MRI certification) or eligibility to obtain certification.
  • Valid state licensure to practice as an MRI Technologist in the United States.
  • Strong understanding of MRI physics, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and patient care standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a hospital or outpatient imaging center setting.
  • Additional certifications such as Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
  • Familiarity with advanced MRI techniques such as functional MRI (fMRI) or cardiac MRI.
  • Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and imaging software.
  • Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities:
