TELLER

This position is responsible for performing banking transactions in regards to receiving and paying out money and other various transactions for bank customers in a timely, accurate, and courteous manner. Looking for an ideal candidate who is a team player and is seeking long term employment with room for advancement 

 Availability/Attendance Requirements:   

This position works and rotates on time requirements which could include the following: 

• Reporting to work as early as 7:15 a.m.,
• Working until close of day as late as 7:00 p.m.,  
• Working some Saturdays (7:15 a.m.-12:00 p.m. -some shifts work to 7:00 p.m.) - One to two Saturdays a month
• Rotating schedule -could work 4-10 hours day shifts or 3-10 hour day shifts and 2 -1/2 day shifts 
• 40 hours a week 

Requirements/Skills:  

• High School graduation or GED equivalent 
• Previous cash handling experience preferred 
• Ability to work with public 
• Good communication/customer service skills 
• Good computer input skills 
• Ability to multi-task 
• Ability to pay strong attention to detail

Essential Job Duties:  

• Greet customers and assess their needs 
• Process customer transactions with courtesy, accuracy, and professionalism 
• Maintain and balance personal teller cash drawer 
• Process buying and selling of monies to/from the vault 
• Count and roll coins for customers as needed 
• Perform other job duties and projects as assigned

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 52 pounds
