Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA) to provide in-home Physical Therapy services for pediatric patients.

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work closely with a supervising therapist to deliver high-quality Physical Therapy that helps children improve mobility, build strength, and gain independence.

This role is ideal for a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) who is passionate about pediatric care and making a meaningful impact through one-on-one Physical Therapy in a home-based setting.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide hands-on Physical Therapy interventions under the direction of a supervising therapist

  • Implement established Physical Therapy treatment plans for pediatric patients

  • Support children in improving mobility, balance, coordination, and functional independence

  • Assist with therapeutic exercises and activities that promote development and strength

  • Educate families and caregivers on home exercise programs and carryover

  • Monitor and report patient progress to supervising therapist

  • Coordinate care with the clinical team

  • Document all Physical Therapy services in an electronic medical record system

  • Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards

 

Qualifications

Required: 

  • Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license (Texas)

  • Current CPR certification

Preferred: 

  • At least 1+ year of pediatric or home health Physical Therapy experience 

  • Experience working with medically complex children
