Job Summary

The Booster Manager oversees the safe and efficient production of booster explosives at the Red Diamond facility. This role is responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and driving continuous improvement in quality and productivity

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead and supervise booster production operations and personnel.

  • Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

  • Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance activities.

  • Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to improve processes and reduce waste.

  • Maintain accurate production records and inventory tracking.

  • Support training and development of team members.

  • Participate in incident investigations and implement corrective actions.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor鈥檚 degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or related field preferred.

  • 3+ years of experience in manufacturing or explosives production.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

  • Strong leadership and team management

  • Process troubleshooting and optimization

  • Knowledge of explosives manufacturing and safety standards

  • Effective communication and documentation

  • Root cause analysis and problem-solving

  • Familiarity with OSHA PSM and ATF regulations

  • Time management and prioritization

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to energetic materials

  • Combination of office and hands-on production floor work

  • Required use of PPE including hard hats, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots

  • Fast-paced, safety-driven environment with strict regulatory oversight
