Daycare Caregiver

Job DetailsJob Location: McCall, ID 83638Job Category: Mountain Sports & ActivitiesJob Summary: We are seeking a nurturing and attentive daycare caregiver to join our team. The daycare caregiver will be responsible for providing a safe and stimulating environment for children under our care. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well in a team. Daycare Caregivers have the opportunity to work seasonally part or full time, or there will be opportunities to work between seasons into year-round.    Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise and monitor the safety of children in our care, both indoors and outdoors. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to stimulate and engage children, including arts and crafts, games, and storytelling. Follow daycare policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of all children. Maintain a clean and organized daycare environment, including cleaning toys, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing materials. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about their child's day, including activities, meals, and any concerns or issues that arise. Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed. Diaper changing and bathroom assistance. Provide emotional support and guidance to children as they navigate social interactions and develop interpersonal skills. Collaborate with other daycare staff to ensure the smooth operation of the daycare and the implementation of our curriculum. Qualifications Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or similar setting is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing situations. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with children. Ability to lift and carry children and/or heavy objects as needed. Must pass a background check.
