Job DetailsJob Location: FOPR 26 - Dayton, OH 45333Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: Not SpecifiedJob Shift: AnyBestica is hiring for a Medical Supply Logistics Technician to provide their services at Wright Patterson Air Force Base located in Dayton, OH.   Description of Services: 711th Human Performance Wing Commander’s Support Staff (711 HPW/CSS) Medical Readiness is responsible for the management and oversight of the 711 HPW War Reserve Material (WRM) Projects based on AFI 41 series and line logistics based on AFI 21 series instructions. The medical programs include oversight of the procurement of medical supplies and equipment, maintenance of medical equipment, and procurement and control/accountability of all medical equipment as well as responsibility for the medical Technical Order Distribution Office (TODO). The line programs include tool control and accountability, non-medical support equipment, and Foreign Object Damage (FOD). This requirement is in support of 711 HPW/CSS Medical Readiness. Benefits: 10 Days PTO 11 Federal Holidays Amazing work environment   Schedule: Monday to Friday Location: Wright Patterson AFB, OH Qualifications The employee shall possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent. The employee shall possess a minimum of 12 months demonstrated experience working with and maintaining War Reserve Material in a DoW supply or warehouse setting including all tasks in PWS 2.2. Demonstrated experience shall include USAF governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, maintaining, inventorying and updating of War Reserve Material Allowance standards. The shall possess extensive demonstrated knowledge and experience of the Defense Medical Logistics Standard Support (DMLSS) system. The employee shall possess a valid U.S. driver’s license to obtain authorization to operate a Government vehicle and obtain and maintain a valid forklift training certificate. The employee shall possess a demonstrated knowledge of OSHA and Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards. The shall provide all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for warehouse operations, ensuring all equipment meets or exceeds ANSI/ISEA standards. The shall provide steel/composite toed boots, ensuring they meet or exceed ANSI/ISEA standards. The employee shall have a signed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) in place with their company based on the potential access to confidential, proprietary, and/or sensitive information. NDA shall be provided to the Government Program Manager by start of performance. Highly Desired Qualifications: Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in medical supply warehouse setting. Tasks and Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive supply activities in accordance with established standard operating procedures, safety regulations, and supply discipline directives including: DMLSS System: Order, purchasing and receipt of items. Receiving: Verifying inbound materials against receiving documents, identifying obvious damage, and routing items to prescribed storage locations. Storage Management: Storing, stacking, and palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed safety and storage methods. Inventory Management: Rearranging stored materials, conducting physical inventories, examining assets for deterioration, and noting/reporting discrepancies. Shipping/Issue: Removing materiel from storage, preparing items for shipment or delivery, and executing the delivery of supplies to authorized personnel. Administration: Assisting with local property utilization and cataloging actions. Verify the delivery, receipt, storage, and issue of incoming supplies. Assist with management of funds and expenditures provided by the Manpower and Equipment Force Packaging Manager for WRM maintenance and upgrades. Safely operate a government vehicle when required to transport supplies and equipment between medical logistics and base support activities and customers. Operate hand trucks and forklifts Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with industrial safety standards (e.g., AFI 91-203). Sweep the warehouse floors and remove trash/debris from the areas immediately outside the facility's garage doors. Mop the warehouse floors.
