Production Supervisor

Your Contribution 

The Production Supervisor position is accountable for meeting production requirements, maintaining quality and continuous improvement, the safety of people, workmanship, methods application, and economical manufacturing costs of machining and inspection of products at the McConnelsville plant consistent with the company's manufacturing and profit objectives.

This role is responsible to:

• • Schedule operations and utilize resources to assure production and quality standards are met.
  • Ensure that proper training, development, and accountability exists for people.
  • Anticipate/adjust to production problems and implement activities to compensate for production   interruptions.
  • Facilitate the problem-solving processes.
  • Maintain safe working conditions to avoid employee injuries. Properly report injuries and incidents.
  • Maintain and administer company guidelines and rules through awareness, counseling, and discipline, lead by example. 
  • Maintain overtime, attendance, and other related records and data on timely basis, with accuracy.
  • Actively lead and support lean initiatives including any lean training.
  • Conduct layered process audits as required.
  • Actively support the full implementation of the Lean culture.
  • All other duties as assigned

Your Experience & Qualifications 

• • 3 plus years’ experience in supervision
  • Manufacturing experience and Customer oriented.
  • Computer proficiency in Windows Office products a must and SAP knowledge a plus.
  • Knowledge of IATF16949 and ISO14001 requirements.
  • Proven interpersonal skills such as Communication Skills, Listening Skills, Decision Making and Assertiveness Skills.
  • Participate in 5S initiatives, Able to work any shift and to work longer hours as needed.
