Job Description

The Financial Analysis Consultant II is a strategic finance partner supporting Allstate Roadside's Commercial Finance and Pricing organization. Unlike traditional finance roles focused primarily on budgeting and forecasting, this position plays a key role in business development, deal evaluation, pricing analysis, and commercial decision support. The consultant will build financial models, develop business cases, evaluate contract renewals and new growth opportunities, and translate complex financial information into clear, compelling recommendations for leadership.
This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional seeking broad business exposure, executive visibility, and a defined growth path within a high-performing and rapidly growing organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop financial models, pricing analyses, pro forma forecasts, and cost-benefit analyses to assess business opportunities and profitability.
  • Analyze contract performance and identify risks, opportunities, and financial implications of business decisions.
  • Partner with sales, operations, and business leaders to support revenue growth and profitable expansion initiatives.
  • Assist in developing pricing recommendations and strategies that balance competitiveness with financial performance.

Financial Analysis & Business Insights

  • Analyze trends, operational metrics, and financial performance indicators to identify emerging opportunities and risks.
  • Translate large data sets and complex financial information into actionable insights.

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Build strong partnerships with finance, sales, marketing, operations, and business leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives and develop financial solutions that support strategic goals.
  • Provide consultative support on initiatives impacting revenue growth, customer acquisition, profitability, and operational performance.
  • Support cross-functional projects requiring financial evaluation and business case development.

Executive Communication & Storytelling

  • Develop presentations, dashboards, and executive-ready materials that clearly communicate financial performance and recommendations.
  • Create compelling narratives that connect financial results to business strategy and operational outcomes.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership audiences with confidence and professionalism.
  • Simplify complex analyses into clear, concise insights that drive action.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Commercial Finance, Pricing, Business Analytics, Consulting, Revenue Management, Sales Finance, or a related analytical field.
  • Experience developing financial models, business cases, forecasts, pricing analyses, or profitability assessments.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to connect financial data to business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and influencing business decisions through data-driven recommendations.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
  • Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and presentation development.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations and communicating complex concepts to leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Finance professional with strong business acumen and curiosity.
  • Comfortable working with sales, marketing, operations, and leadership stakeholders.
