DIRECTOR OF RECORDS

POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT


Butler County Community College (BC3) is currently accepting applications for the position of Director of Records. This is a regular full-time position that will begin immediately. Some evenings and occasional weekend hours required. 


Reporting to the Dean of Admissions and College Registrar, the Director leads the college's development and utilization of technology and effective processes to enhance the student enrollment experience from application to degree completion. Leads the coordination of annual curriculum and catalog update processes in partnership with Academic Affairs. The Director oversees and supervises the daily office functions of the Records Office to ensure compliance with college, state and federal laws, policies and regulations related to student enrollment and records. Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution required. Master’s Degree from an accredited institution in Student Affairs, Higher Education Administration, or related field preferred. Three years of experience in student affairs and enrollment management required. Five years of experience in student affairs and enrollment management preferred. Experience in records and registration preferred. Three years of direct experience using and/or managing student information systems, curriculum management systems, electronic forms and document retention systems preferred. Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

BC3 is nestled in the rolling hills of Western Pennsylvania and only 45 minutes from the cultural life of Pittsburgh. BC3 offers over 100 courses in online and distance education. In addition to degree programs, BC3 has a public safety training facility at its main campus that serves 15,000 students annually for business training, industrial safety training, and public safety – fire, EMS, Hazmat, and police training.
