WHAT YOU’LL DOÂ
As a Parts Delivery Driver, you’ll be responsible for picking up and delivering parts and equipment across our dealership, satellite stores, wholesale accounts, and vendors; ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and excellent service. You’ll ensure all parts shipments coming in and going out of the dealership are handled accurately and efficiently. You will:Â
➤ Coordinate daily deliveries and pickups with the Parts Manager, inventory control, parts counter, and shipping/receiving teams.Â
➤ Verify invoices match parts and check payments before leaving for deliveries.Â
➤ Maintain accurate logs of all deliveries and pickups; obtain signatures for each delivery.Â
➤ Unload trucks each night and turn in all paperwork, cores, and undelivered parts.Â
➤ Perform basic truck maintenance, including fueling, checking oil, keeping the truck clean, and ensuring inspections are up to date.Â
➤ Complete weekly vehicle checklists and consult the branch safety council on any concerns.Â
➤ Ensure vehicle is equipped with all required safety and operational items (fire extinguisher, safety triangles, first aid kit, GPS, EZ Pass, insurance, registration, fuel card).Â
➤ Report major truck repairs and maintenance needs to the Parts Manager.Â
➤ Help maintain the professional appearance of the parts department and your work vehicle.Â
➤ Unpack, inspect, and route incoming shipments; record shortages, reject damaged items, and coordinate with inventory control to resolve issues.
➤ Compare shipment details against invoices, bills of lading, orders, or other records to ensure accuracy for both incoming and outgoing parts.
➤ Determine if parts are for pickup at the parts counter, delivery to customers, or shop repair orders.
➤ Stock parts accurately, maintain a clean and organized warehouse, and keep items easily accessible.
➤ Conduct inventory counts with inventory control, including off-site consignment counts when needed.
➤ Assist in identifying slow-moving inventory, suggest optimal stocking locations, and provide feedback on max inventory levels.
➤ Work with inventory control on returns to OEM manufacturers, meeting shipment requirements and deadlines.
➤ Safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, hand trucks, etc.) and personal protective equipment; report any equipment needing repair.
➤ Maintain inventory of shipping materials and warehouse supplies.
➤ Collaborate with drivers and outside sales staff to stage parts for delivery or pickup.
➤ Adhere to and promote all health and safety policies to reinforce a safe working environment

WHAT YOU BRINGÂ
â—† Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED preferred; 1–3 months of related experience (or equivalent combination).Â
â—† Driving & Safety: Valid driver’s license required, must meet company insurability standards, and be able to drive across county and state lines.Â
â—† Communication Skills: Able to read instructions and manuals, write routine reports, and communicate effectively with customers and team members.Â
â—† Certifications: ASE certification or Medium/Heavy Truck Parts Specialist certification preferred.Â
â—† Physical Requirements: Regularly stand and walk; occasionally stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; lift/move up to 50 lbs regularly and over 100 lbs occasionally; vision requirements include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.Â
