POSITION AT A GLANCE

Location: Onsite in Butler, PA
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm (occasional overtime and weekend on-call support as business needs require)


WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a Systems Administrator, you'll play a key role in modernizing and securing Hunter Truck’s technology environment. You'll administer and improve our cloud-based systems, automate processes, strengthen endpoint management, and partner with teams across the organization to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable technology solutions. This role goes beyond day-to-day support by identifying root causes, improving systems, and driving continuous operational improvement.

➤ Administer and support Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, endpoint management platforms, and other cloud-based technologies
➤ Maintain and improve system configurations, deployment methods, endpoint standards, identity management, and access controls to support security and operational efficiency
➤ Monitor system performance, investigate recurring issues, and implement long-term improvements that enhance reliability and reduce support volume
➤ Serve as the Level 2 escalation resource for complex technical issues while identifying root causes and implementing permanent solutions
➤ Design, document, and maintain technical policies, standards, procedures, and troubleshooting documentation that improve consistency and supportability
➤ Support identity and access management through least privilege, multi-factor authentication, Conditional Access, role-based security, and secure administrative practices
➤ Assist with endpoint security, device compliance, encryption, patch management, antivirus/EDR monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and configuration baselines
➤ Develop and support automation initiatives that reduce manual effort, improve consistency, and simplify IT service delivery using tools such as PowerShell and Microsoft technologies
➤ Collaborate with Technical Support and business teams to identify recurring user challenges and implement system-level improvements that enhance the employee experience
➤ Support technology planning, deployment, and standardization for new facilities, expansions, and business growth initiatives
➤ Participate in weekend on-call support as a senior escalation resource and travel occasionally to remote branch locations as business needs require
➤ Maintain a professional appearance while promoting Hunter Truck's health and safety culture


WHAT YOU BRING

â—† Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5 years of Information Technology experience supporting end users and endpoint technologies, including at least 3 years designing, deploying, and managing cloud-native endpoint management solutions such as Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Exchange Online, Windows Autopilot, Microsoft 365, and Mobile Device Management (MDM). Experience serving as an escalation resource for complex technical issues required. Knowledge of PowerShell scripting, endpoint security, networking fundamentals, vulnerability remediation, and mentoring technical support staff preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and continuous improvement skills required.

â—† Travel Requirements: Occasional travel, including overnight travel, to branch locations as business needs require.

◆ Certificates & Licenses: Valid Driver's License required; must meet company insurability standards

â—† Physical Requirements: Regularly sitting; occasionally stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing ladders, and using lifts. Regularly lift up to 20 lbs., frequently up to 40 lbs., and occasionally up to 60 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to assemble and disassemble computer-related equipment using various tools. Work environment may include occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, airborne particles, and moderate noise levels.
