Responsibilities:

  • Utilize custom winding equipment to manufacture magnetic coil windings
  • Perform hand soldering of coil windings to create various chains of windings
  • Perform assembly process based off work instructions, hands on training, and using various hand tools
  • Communicate with Team Leader, Supervsior, and co-workers in a respectful and professional manner
  • Read and interpret blueprint assembly drawings to wind, assemble, and hand solder the product
  • Read and interpret manufacturing work instructions and assembly drawings
  • Perform basic PC functions for use with winding equipment
  • Willing and able to assist anywhere else in the same department or cross departmentally as needed to meet production goals
  • Provide written and oral communication among the production team(s)
  • Support Manufacturing Engineering as needed or process development and documentation updates
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Technical knowledge:

  • Effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering Assembly Drawings
  • Ability to read and interpret SOP's or Work Instructions
  • Ability to work within Windows based PC environment
  • Working knowledge of Manufacturing Processes/Equipment

Experience and Essential requirements:

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 5+ years' manufacturing assembly and/or machine operator experience
  • Must be able and willing to work in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Must be organized
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Mechanical/electrical aptitude a plus
  • Must be able to work afternoon shift
