Description

Overview
We are seeking skilled Fleet Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles or machinery. They work with a variety of tools and technology to troubleshoot issues and ensure everything is running safely and efficiently. 


 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test vehicles/machines for damage or malfunctions
     
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and engine issues
     
  • Repair or replace worn parts, such as brake pads or wheel bearings
     
  • Perform routine maintenance (e.g., oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks)
     
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify issues
     
  • Follow safety protocols and manufacturer specifications
     
  • Keep accurate records of repairs and maintenance
     
  •  Communicate with management about repairs and costs 

Requirements

  

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
     
  • Knowledge of vehicle systems and tools
     
  • Ability to read technical manuals and diagrams
     
  • Attention to detail and safety
     
  • Certification from a trade school or ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) is a plus
     
  • Physical stamina for lifting, bending, and standing for long periods
     

Work Environment:
Mechanics typically work in garages, workshops, or outdoor job sites. The job may involve noisy environments and exposure to grease, oil, and heavy equipment.
