Summary of Job Duties:

Primary duties include teaching a variety of health related undergraduate / nursing technical courses, supervising clinicals, developing and teaching online courses or willingness to learn online teaching requirements, and serve on departmental and University committees. In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for advising and registering students; developing instructional and lab activities; clinical coordination, maintaining program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; making business and industry contacts; coordinating and supervising internship/practicum assignments, and other duties as assigned. Evening and/or summer hours may be required.


Qualifications:

Registered Nurse with a current non encumbered Arkansas Nursing license, Bachelors of Science in Nursing preferred.  A minimum of three years of work experience in a hospital setting is required, and teaching experience is a plus.  Must possess good communication, problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills, and be willing to obtain occupational-related certifications as deemed necessary.
