Job DetailsJob Location: OCH Business Office - Hartford, KY 42347Position Type: Full TimeEducation Level: High SchoolTravel Percentage: Up to 25%Job Shift: DaysPrincipal Responsibilities and Competencies: o Assist patients from walk ins or phone with account questions o Process patient payments o Complete patient payment contracts and set up recurring card payments when necessary o Assist employees with payment resolution by payment in full or payroll deduction o Complete Good Faith Estimates as needed o Assist patients with Financial Assistance applications and process applications for approval or denial o Assist patients with Indigent Care applications/process o Complete task worklist assigned by Trubridge Outsourcing Team or onsite team members o Complete various worklists/reports related to patient balance and applying appropriate discounts o Provide back up to cashier in processing daily deposits, mailpaid completion and handling cash/safe protocol o Participating in educational activities and staff meetings when necessary. o Maintaining confidentiality and adheres to all hospital policies, including HIPPA guidelines o Other duties as assigned   Work Environment: Office setting Physical Demand: Walking, frequent sitting at desk, occasionally stair climbing, occasionally lifting, looking at computer screen, writing. Schedule: Monday through Friday; 40 hours. Travel: Occasionally travels from hospital to offsite business office or clinic locationsQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or Equivalent (May be allowed to sign a GED agreement to obtain within 6-months) Experience: Preferred experience in patient customer service and soft cash collection.
