LOGISTICS COORDINATOR 

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Salaried Non-Exempt 

JOB OVERVIEW:  

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Logistics Coordinator will effectively manage the scheduling of shipments of inbound products to all locations under the direction of the Logistics Director. This position reports to the Shared Services General Manager. 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage appointments for inbound merchandise across all facilities, following the allocations determined by management and utilizing independent thought and judgment
  • Enter all shipments in proprietary software
  • Update software to accurately reflect the product in the warehouse for all facilities
  • Track product and inventory to ensure timeliness and accountability
  • Prepare appropriate documentation
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
  • Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in supply chain management
  • Download the manifests for loads from email, Amazon's Vendor Central, or other repository, then process and upload to proprietary software
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Coordinate with suppliers, brokers, and carriers in a professional manner
  • Support MAC.BID employees in logistics-related matters

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Must be available to work onsite Monday – Friday hours to be determined by workload and Management, with occasional rotating remote weekend hours (2-5 hours)
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
  • Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
  • Must have a High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
