Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor I to join our team in
1769 Pine Hollow Road, Mckees Rocks, PA 15136
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 4:00pm – 12:30am daily OT, Occasional Sat/Sun
 Job Responsibilities:
Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
Unpack and route specimens to their respective staging areas
Accurately identify and label specimensÂ
Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesÂ
Meet department activity and production goals
Properly prepare and store excess specimen samplesÂ
Data entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerÂ
Resolve and document any problem specimensÂ

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications:
1 year or more experience (lab/accessioning, production/manufacturing/warehouse environment)
6 months or more of medical or production experience

Additional Job Standards:
Comfortable handling biological specimensÂ
Ability to accurately identify specimensÂ
Experience working in a team environmentÂ
Strong data entry and organizational skills
High level of attention to detail
Proficient in MS OfficeÂ
Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
Ability to pass a standardized color blind test

 LabCorp is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join their Specimen Processing and Accessioning team in McKees Rocks. The Specimen Accessioner will be responsible for performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment according to established standard operating procedures.Â
