Overview

As a Dental Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating an exceptional experience for our patients while helping your team and practice thrive. You’ll lead the day-to-day operations of the office, support team performance, and partner with the doctor and clinical team to create a positive, productive practice environment.

What You’ll Do
 
  • Lead the day-to-day operations of the dental practice, ensuring the office runs efficiently and delivers an exceptional patient experience.
  • Partner with the dentist and clinical team to support practice goals, patient care and overall practice growth.
  • Lead, coach and develop the office team, creating a culture of collaboration, accountability and engagement.
  • Oversee patient scheduling and help ensure the practice is operating at its full potential.
  • Monitor practice performance, including production, collections and accounts receivable, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage office expenses, supplies and operational resources.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, training and retention of team members.
  • Help create a welcoming environment for patients and ensure concerns are addressed quickly and professionally.
  • Ensure the practice follows company policies, regulatory requirements and applicable dental compliance standards.
  • Monitor equipment and facility needs and coordinate maintenance when necessary.
  • Recognize opportunities to improve the patient and team experience and turn ideas into action.


Responsibilities

  • 1+ year of experience managing or leading a dental office preferred.
  • Experience leading, coaching or developing a team.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and the day-to-day operations of a dental practice.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A patient-first mindset and commitment to creating an exceptional experience.
  • Ability to prioritize, problem-solve and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Comfort working with practice performance, scheduling and financial metrics.
  • A positive, collaborative leadership style.
