Position Summary:

I&C Cable Builder Specialist supports the creation, maintenance, and administration of cable assembly configurations within the Cable Builder system while ensuring accurate integration with NetSuite ERP. This entry-level role works closely with Engineering, Sales, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to maintain product data, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and part numbers necessary for efficient quoting and production.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain, and modify cable designs, specifications, and product configurations to support customer and business requirements.
  • Utilize Cable Builder and NetSuite to develop product records, configure cable designs, and maintain accurate product setup information.
  • Generate and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) to support manufacturing, procurement, and product lifecycle activities.
  • Review customer requirements and collaborate with internal teams to develop cable design solutions that meet technical and commercial objectives.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Sales, Operations, Procurement, Accounting, and Manufacturing to ensure accurate product data and timely project execution.
  • Support sales and customer-facing teams by providing technical product information, specifications, and design recommendations.
  • Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to ensure material requirements, costing, and product information are accurately reflected within company systems.
  • Maintain design documentation, specifications, and product configuration data in accordance with company standards.
  • Assist in the introduction of new products and product changes by updating system records and supporting implementation activities.
  • Troubleshoot configuration, design, or product setup issues and work collaboratively with cross-functional stakeholders to resolve them.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of product information, drawings, configurations, and related documentation.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and data management practices related to product design and setup.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma

  • Strong Excel skills including formulas and calculations.

  • SolidWorks / 3D CAD experience.

  • Ability to work independently.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Cross-functional communication responsibilities.

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience with Cable Builder

  • Familiarity with NetSuite or ERP systems

  • Experience in wire and cable industry

  • Bachelor's Degree
