Maintenance Technician (HVAC Certified) 

Department: Operations 

Reports to: Property Manager 

Location: McKinney, TX

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, mechanical systems, and building structures 
  • Participate in on-call for after-hours emergencies. 
  • Troubleshoot and respond to service requests efficiently and professionally 
  • Inspect equipment and facilities to ensure safety and operational readiness 
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and inventory of supplies 
  • Prepare reports, logs, and service documentation 
  • Assist with renovation and construction projects as needed 
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies 

Requirements


What You’ll Bring:

  • HVAC certification required- Type 2 or EPA Universal
  • 4+ years of maintenance experience, with at least 3 years in a trade-specific role 
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, tools, and safety procedures 
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in physically demanding environments 
  • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying weather conditions 
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions 
  • A proactive, team-oriented mindset 


Additional Details:

  • High school diploma or GED required 
  • Work may be performed on rooftops and require use of ladders or lift devices 
  • Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
