Position Overview

We are hiring a licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to support our therapy team. The OTA will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to implement treatment plans and help clients maximize independence in daily activities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy interventions as outlined in OT care plans.

  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, adaptive activities, and self-care training.

  • Document patient progress accurately and submit reports per agency and regulatory requirements.

  • Support patients and families with education and training for ongoing care.

  • Communicate regularly with the supervising OT and interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program (accredited).

  • Current Texas OTA license.

  • Prior experience in home health, geriatric care, or rehabilitation preferred.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Familiarity with clinical documentation requirements (Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance).
