Job Description

As a Security Officer Vehicle Patrol Driver Security Clearance in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a premier aerospace and defense location. In this driving post, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control requirements, and emergency response protocols at an aerospace and defense location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, requesting assistance from designated personnel and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, restricted areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify irregular conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access attempts and/or policy violations in accordance with site requirements.
• Document patrol activity, incidents, and observations through clear, accurate reports and promptly communicate concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated client representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• An active Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
