Job Description

As a Security Officer with Active Clearance Full Time Patrol Driver in McKinney, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a mission-focused environment while using sound judgment and teamwork. Pay Rate: $19.17 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, facility concerns, and unauthorized access.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials in accordance with site policies; document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and patrol records while maintaining professional communication with Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
