Job DetailsJob Location: Encore Wire McKinney - McKinney, TX 75069Position Type: Full TimeJob Shift: Full TimeQuality Control Inspectors are responsible for reducing scrap, material reduction and increase productivity on the production floors. They troubleshoot quality issues with product processes. The work closely with operations team to ensure process controls are in place to meet standard requirements.   Accurate and timely inspections of machines and finished products Complete quality reports hourly Verify specific dimensions and material usage to assist in cost reduction Eliminate non-conforming products. Meet production goals May be responsible to perform other related duties as required and assigned Must be able to work a 3rd shift (7pm-7am) Comply with OSHA Regulations   Non-temperature controlled; frequently exposed to very hot or cold temperatures Mostly indoor, industrial setting, but occasionally work outdoors Regularly exposed to loud sounds and noise levels Experience with (Excel, Word, Outlook) preferred High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to read, write, comprehend and communicate fluently in English Ability to read, follow, comprehend technical documents Willingness to learn new products, process flow, and industry terminology Knowledge of basic math and measurements   Safety awareness Ability to work with minimal supervision Prioritize tasks to achieve production goals on schedule Dependability and flexibility in work schedule availability Perform a repetitive task for long periods of time without losing focus
