Enterprise Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention Administrator, Lead

The Opportunity:

The Enterprise Cybersecurity Data Loss Prevention (DLP) team is seeking an Administrator Lead to oversee and manage the DLP Administration team, ensuring the protection of sensitive information across the organization. In this role, you will develop and implement DLP policies, design secure data systems, and collaborate with engineering teams to integrate data protection measures. You will also play a critical role in training team members, promoting a culture of data security, participating in company efforts to enhance training and awareness, conducting communication campaigns for data security initiatives, and identifying additional data loss detection gaps to remedy. You will also respond to data incidents outside of regular working hours. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

What You’ll Work On:

  • Oversee the development and maintenance of DLP policies and integrations.

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the DLP Administration team, providing guidance, support, and priority management.

  • Develop DLP policy roadmap in accordance with company risk tolerance.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment with overall data security strategy.

  • Coordinate and escalate technical issues with vendors and other teams.

  • Provide training and awareness programs to staff on data protection practices.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify policy effectiveness and implement improvements to data loss detections.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in data security and DLP technologies.

You Have:

  • 5+ years of experience in data loss prevention

  • Experience leading and managing a team

  • Experience operating DLP tools and technologies

  • Knowledge of data protection laws and regulations

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security or Computer Science

  • CISSP or CISM Certifications

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
