As the Data Warehousing Administrator, you will manage large scale storage systems, ensuring data integrity, efficient retrieval, and long-term security protections.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Manage large-scale data storage systems.
- Ensure data integrity and efficient data retrieval.
- Implement long-term security protections for stored data.
- Operate independently across multiple work areas.
- Lead major technical assignments and supervise teams.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of Data Warehousing experience.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
- Performance management and tuning, optimize data structure, SQL query, application logic
- Storage management and capacity planning
- Coordinating data organization refactoring at different scales
- Manage user accounts and access control
- 2 years of experience managing a data warehouse for a sizable team
- Experience in managing access control for a complex team
- Experience in at least one major data warehouse data organization refactoring
- Experience in handling data warehouse incidents
- Strong written and oral communication
- Familiarity with the Snowflake data warehouse
- Experience in managing Snowflake using SQL commands
- Some basic knowledge in data processing
- A passion for blockchain
- Python programming
- Experience in blockchain technology
- Experience in data warehouse cost control
