As a MITRE Operations Coordinator you will support the execution of day-to-day business operations and organizational activities. Working closely with leadership, operations staff, and support organizations, this role coordinates operational processes, maintains business records, supports projects, and helps ensure efficient execution of organizational priorities. They will be customer-service focused, collaborative, and be able to problem solve and maintain professional composure while working under pressure of internal and external deadlines. They will possess highly effective communication skills, excellent judgment, and a tolerance for risk-taking.  Success will require working as a trusted partner to staff at all levels of seniority.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and execute recurring operational activities, including meetings, staffing actions, purchasing requests, and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain operational documentation, trackers, schedules, SharePoint sites, and knowledge management resources.
  • Support project staffing, allocation management, budget tracking, and resource coordination activities.
  • Gather, organize, validate, and prepare operational data, reports, presentations, and dashboards.
  • Coordinate with Human Resources, Finance, Security, and other support organizations to facilitate day-to-day operations.
  • Assist with planning and execution of meetings, workshops, and organizational events.
  • Monitor operational activities, identify routine process inefficiencies, and elevate improvement recommendations as appropriate.
  • Provide responsive customer service and reliable follow-through for internal stakeholders.
  • Identify and leverage artificial intelligence (AI)-enabled tools and workflows to improve operational efficiency, decision support, knowledge management, reporting, and organizational effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience; or Master's degree and 3 years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience coordinating administrative, operational, project support, or business activities.
  • Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience preparing reports, presentations, and operational documentation.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, and OneDrive.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and a customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently on defined assignments while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Must have an active Top Secret U.S Government issued Security Clearance. Per the U.S. Government’s eligibility requirements, you must be a U.S Citizen to be considered for a security clearance.
  • This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Clarity, Salesforce, Workday, Smartsheet, Power BI, or similar business tools.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance.
  • Familiarity with government classified systems (e.g., JWCIS, SIPR).
