Who We’re Looking For (Position Overview):

 

The IT Strategy & Innovation Intern supports Spry Methods’ IT‑focused strategy, innovation, and mission alignment efforts. This role provides early exposure to federal IT missions, emerging technologies, and solution‑oriented thinking, with an emphasis on research, analysis, and documentation rather than implementation.
The intern contributes to internal strategy initiatives that inform proposals, white papers, and innovation efforts across areas such as artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital modernization. Work products are research‑driven, reviewable, and designed for internal decision‑making and growth support.

What Your Day-To-Day Looks Like (Position Responsibilities):
•    Research federal agency IT missions, environments, and technology priorities
•    Conduct background research to support white papers and internal strategy efforts
•    Document IT use cases focused on efficiency, modernization, and differentiation
•    Track and organize innovation ideas and emerging technology concepts
•    Produce concise, structured research summaries and briefing materials

What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Requirements):
  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
  • Interest in federal IT missions and emerging technologies
  • Ability to synthesize complex information into clear, structured outputs
