Occupational Therapist

Location: McLean, VA
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: $85,000 – $95,000 per year

Summary
We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to help patients improve functional performance for daily living and safe return to routine. This role focuses on evaluation, treatment planning, and hands-on intervention that supports measurable progress across home, work, and community activities.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate patient function and daily living challenges through standardized and functional assessments
  • Build individualized treatment plans focused on practical goals and measurable outcomes
  • Provide hands-on therapy and training to improve mobility, coordination, strength, and independence
  • Educate patients and families on safe techniques, home programs, and adaptive strategies
  • Recommend adaptive equipment and home/work modifications when appropriate
  • Document sessions, progress, and plan updates clearly and on time
  • Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support continuity of care
  • Master’s or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • NBCOT certification
  • Strong clinical documentation and time-management skills
  • Experience in outpatient, inpatient, SNF, or home health is welcome (new grads considered with strong fieldwork)
  • 2 weeks PTO
