Location: McLean, VA
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Summary
The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) supports the delivery of clinical care by providing treatment interventions under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. In this role, you will help patients improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function through guided therapeutic exercise, functional training, and clinic-approved modalities. You’ll play a key role in day-to-day patient experience, progress tracking, and accurate documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver PT-directed interventions during scheduled patient visits
  • Lead exercise progressions and movement retraining with safe technique
  • Use modalities as ordered and follow clinic safety procedures
  • Observe patient performance and share meaningful updates with the PT
  • Reinforce home exercise programs and answer basic treatment questions
  • Keep documentation accurate, complete, and timely
  • Contribute to a clean, organized treatment space and smooth clinic flow
  • PTA degree from an accredited program
  • Virginia PTA license in good standing
  • CPR/BLS certification
  • Basic comfort with EMR/documentation systems
  • Strong patient communication and professionalism
  • 2 weeks PTO
