What You Will Do:
As a senior consultant within the Guidehouse Health segment, you will be responsible for delivering impactful project results and building trusted client relationships across federal health clients. You will support the delivery of projects that aim to improve health outcomes and reduce costs through high-quality, affordable, person-centered care. The senior consultant should have experience supporting federal clients, such as CMS, and industry experience helping clients solve their complex business problems. You will be expected to deliver project work, ranging from alternative payment model implementation, monitoring and compliance, and learning and diffusion. You will contribute to task order proposal response efforts and be expected to contribute to the growth of our existing portfolio. We are looking for someone with a passion for creative problem-solving and client service.
Job Description/ResponsibilitiesÂ
Contribute to highly complex, multi-year awards and task orders aimed at achieving high-quality, affordable, person-centered care
Supporting the planning, development, and implementation of audit/compliance programs
Executing business process controls reviews on large and complex programs in order to identify vulnerabilities
Supporting learning and stakeholder communication activities including webinars, webcasts, and developing learning tools and materials.
Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and completing review documentation
What You Will Need:Â
Bachelor's degree in health policy, health economics, health services research, epidemiology, public health, or health/policy related fieldsÂ
5+ years of relevant industry, research, or consulting experience, excluding internships, co-ops, fellowships, and academic researchÂ
Experience directly supporting public health-focused federal agencies or health systems
Experience working with CMS value-based care and alternative payment models Â
Ability to work on interdisciplinary teams in a highly matrixed environmentÂ
Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance (i.e. US Citizenship required)
What Would Be Nice To Have:Â
Master's degree in health policy, health economics, health services research, epidemiology, public health, or health/policy related fieldsÂ
Strong understanding of value-based care payment modelsÂ
Direct experience with CMMI Alternative Payment Models
Healthcare quality measurement experience
