We are seeking a Senior Director of Small Group Training to lead the strategic vision, program development, and operational excellence of SGT across our entire network.

This role is ideal for a leader who can pair bold, innovative thinking with the operational discipline needed to scale programs successfully. You will shape the direction of existing programs—including Boxing, Pilates, and Strength & Conditioning—while driving the creation of new and emerging fitness offerings.

About the Role
The Senior Director of Small Group Training oversees the full lifecycle of SGT programs, from concept to launch to ongoing optimization. You will partner closely with Operations, Consumer Insights, Marketing, Construction/CapEx, Facilities, and Technology to ensure programs are delivered consistently and at the highest standard. The role requires strong leadership, deep industry expertise, and the ability to influence at both the corporate and club levels.

What You’ll Do
• Lead the strategy, design, and execution of all small group training programs.
• Develop and launch new modalities informed by market research, member insights, and industry trends.
• Partner across departments to pilot, refine, and scale new offerings.
• Maintain deep knowledge of current and emerging fitness modalities.
• Ensure consistent quality and delivery of SGT programs across all locations.
• Create SOPs, training materials, and performance metrics to support operational excellence.
• Collaborate with Construction, Facilities, and Technology to ensure programming needs are supported.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and development to SGT Program Managers, GMs, Fitness Directors, and   club-level coaches.
• Build a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as an ambassador for SGT talent recruitment and retention.
• Own the P&L for SGT programs and align financial performance with company goals.
• Track KPIs related to participation, engagement, retention, and profitability.
• Identify opportunities to increase revenue and improve margins.
• Collaborate with Finance and Operations to forecast and report on performance.

What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of experience in fitness programming, preferably in multi-location or franchise environments.
• Strong track record of launching and scaling group training programs.
• Proven leadership and team development skills.
• Deep understanding of fitness trends, modalities, and member engagement strategies.
• Strong communication, project management, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated business acumen with experience reviewing financial statements and managing P&L   performance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Relevant fitness certifications (NASM, ACE, CrossFit, Pilates, etc.).
