Position Summary:

A Facility Custodian is a professional who is responsible for keeping a building clean and in an orderly condition. They perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

Essential/Key Functions:

· Cleaning and supplying designated building areas (breakrooms, offices, restrooms).

· Performing and documenting routine inspection and maintenance activities.

· Conducting heavy cleansing tasks and special projects.

· Notifying management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs.

· Making adjustments and minor repairs.

· Stocking and maintaining supply rooms.

· Following all health and safety regulations.

Basic Qualifications:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Prior on-the-job work experience.

· The ability to work independently.

· Good understanding of color and textures.

· Good written and verbal communication skills.

· Good understanding of cleaning procedures and safety regulations.
